Playing Groups
When the group play mode is selected, the discs are played as follows according to the set play mode:
Q All DISCS CONTINUOUS mode: All the CDs in the group are played continuously.
W All DISCS RANDOM mode: One track (selected randomly) on each CD in the group are played in random order.

Press the ZONE MODE button and select the zone mode (SINGLE or MULTI).

When the multi-zone mode is selected, press the OPERATE button to select the zone to
be played (zone 1 or zone 2).
The play mode can be set and CDs selected for the play zone displayed on the main
display.
* This operation is not necessary when the single zone mode is selected.

Press the GROUP button and select the group to be played.
[Selecting the group from the remote control unit]
Press the GROUP button, then press the number button to select the desired group.

Press the PLAY button or the jog dial (on the remote control unit press the PLAY or ENTER
button) to start playback from the CD with the lowest number within the group list.

To specify the disc from which playback is to start, select the disc on the main unit or
the remote control unit.
* If the multi-zone mode is selected, repeat the above operations from step 2 for the
other zone. In this case it is not possible to play the same group.

To cancel group playback, press the MODE OFF button.
