This sets the starting point A.

•End point B is set and the A-B section is played repeatedly.

For some discs, the repeat play and A-B repeat functions do not
work.
The repeat play and A-B repeat functions may not work for discs on
which the elapsed playing time is not indicated on the DVD-2930CI’s
display during playback.
During A-B repeat playback, the subtitles just before or after the A-
B section may not be displayed.
Repeating a section between two specific points
(A-B repeat playback)
¢ Returning to normal playback:
Press [A-B] until “A TO B CANCELED” appears on the display.
¢ To check the contents of the program:
Press 2 twice to stop the disc.
•The program screen is displayed.
In addition, when [CALL] is pressed while in the stop mode, the
programmed number is shown on the display.
¢ Clearing individual tracks from programs:
Video CDs, Super audio CDs and Music CDs:
In the stop mode, press [CLEAR].
The last track set in the program is deleted each time the button
is pressed.
DVD-Audio:
At the program screen, press [
GG
], select the track to be
programmed using [
DD HH
], then press [CLEAR].
Programmed playback
For DVD-Audio discs, video CDs, music CDs and Super Audio CDs,
track numbers can be programmed to play in the desired order.
Programmed playback is not possible with DVD-Video discs.
In the stop mode, press [PROGRAM/DIRECT].
The “PROG” indicator appears on the display.

Use [NUMBER]

to input the number to be set.
Up to 20 tracks can be programmed.
For DVD-Audio discs, use [
DD HH
] to select “group number” and
“track number”, then press [ENTER].

Press 1.
Playback starts in the programmed order.

¢ To clear the entire program
Press [PROGRAM/DIRECT].
In the stop mode, press [RANDOM].
The “RAND” indicator appears on the display.

Press 1.
Random playback starts.
For DVD-Audio discs, the group selection screen is displayed.
Use [
DD HH
] to select “ALL” or “GROUP number”, then press
[ENTER]. (“
” is displayed next to “group number”.)
All the groups are played in random order when “ALL” is
selected, and only the tracks within that group are played when
“group number” is selected.

Random playback may not be possible for some discs.

In the stop mode, press [RANDOM].
Playing in random order
For DVD-Audio discs, video CDs, music CDs and Super Audio CDs,
the tracks can played in random order.
Random playback is not possible with DVD-Video discs.
