Function

Set the Party Mode

function.

ON : Enable Party Mode function.

OFF : Disable Party Mode function.

Refer to page 30, “Playing the Same Network

Audio on Different Devices Connected in a Network

(Party Mode Function)” for more information on the party

mode function.

Party Start Level

Make settings for

volume level when

the Party Mode is

started.

Volume Level

0 ~ 100 % : Start party mode with your preferred volume.

This can be set when “Party Mode Function“ is set

to “ON“.

Firmware Update

Update the ﬁrmware.

Check for Update : You can update to the latest ﬁrmware

by connecting the ASD-51W to a network.

It is recommended that you update to the latest ﬁrmware

version when using the ASD-51W.

NOTE

When you update the ﬁrmware your settings will be

returned to the default values. Please be aware that

updating the ﬁrmware will erase all your settings,

including the stations registered in your Favourites

and your Recently Played list.

1. Connect the monitor and connect to the network.

2. Turn on the ASD-51W (vpage 4, 6 b1 ).

3. Conﬁgure the network connection settings.

4. While watching the GUI screen, use uio p to

select “Setup” – “Other” – “Firmware Update”.

When the language setting is “English”.

5. Select “Start” and press ENTER.

When you press ENTER, ﬁrmware updating starts

automatically.

The message “Now Updating. During this process

screen will go blank for several minutes. Do not turn

off.” will appear brieﬂy, after which the GUI screen

will go blank.

During ﬁrmware updating, the power indicator is

turned off and the GUI screen is blank.

The updating process takes approx. 10 ~ 15 minutes

with a broadband connection. The actual time will vary

depending on the server status and the speed of the

Internet.

When updating is complete, the GUI screen reappears

automatically.

Set the power operation switch on the ASD-51W to

“OFF”. Firmware updating is now complete.

NOTE

Step 5 cannot take place if the ASD-51W does not

connect to the Internet. In this case, repeat the procedure

from step 2.

If your ASD-51W already has the latest ﬁrmware

version, the message “Latest Firmware” will appear

at step 5. In this case, you do not need to update the

ﬁrmware.
