PTY Search

Use this function to ﬁnd RDS stations broadcasting a

designated program type (PTY).

For a description of each program type, refer to “Program

Type (PTY)”.

TP Search

Use this function to ﬁnd RDS stations broadcasting trafﬁc

programs (TP stations).

Set the band to “FM”, then press [PLAY MODE].

Either turn <Multi Jog> or press [ui] to select

“PTY Search”, then press ENTER.

Either turn <Multi Jog> or press [ui] to select

“PTY”, then press ENTER.

Automatically begin the PTY search operation.

If no program of the speciﬁed type is found, “NO PROGRAM” is

displayed.

Set the band to “FM”, then press [PLAY MODE].

Either turn <Multi Jog> or press [ui] to select “TP

Search”, then press ENTER.

Automatically begin the TP search operation.

“NO PROGRAM” is displayed when there is no trafﬁc information

broadcast station.

Playing a Portable Audio

Your portable audio player can be connected to the S-32’s

AUX IN jack to play tracks on the portable audio player.

Either turn <Multi Jog> or press 8 9 after

pressing <SOURCE> to select “AUX” then press

ENTER, or press [AUX].

Play the portable audio player.

The Portable Audio are output.

Connect the S-32 and portable audio player using a separately sold

mini-stereo audio cable.

Listening to Radio Stations and PC Music Registered

in Your Favorites

Press [FAVORITE] while the radio station or PC music

you want to register is playing.

Either turn <Multi Jog> or press [ui] to select

“Add to Favorite”, then press ENTER.

“Complete!!” is displayed once registration is ﬁnished.

Registering Radio Stations and PC Music as Your

Favorites

NOTE

If more than 50 stations are already registered, the oldest data is

deleted.

Press [FAVORITE].

Either turn <Multi Jog> or press [ui] to choose the

radio station or PC Music to be registered, then press

ENTER.

Press and hold in [FAVORITE] for at least 1 second to store in

“Favorite”.

Favorite



Your favorite Internet radio stations, PC Music and broadcast

stations can be registered in your favorites so that you can

tune them in easily. Up to 50 data can be registered.
