EDITING
This operation is not possible in the relay or mix mode. Switch to the normal or dual mode to perform this operation.
Close the disc tray and set the stop mode for the CD section.
1. CD-R/RW editing
(1) Cancellation of CD-RW disc finalizing (i.e., Unfinalizing)
This operation is valid only for CD-RW discs. Finalizing cannot be cancelled from CD-R discs.
Use this operation to cancel finalizing when adding further recording to a finalized CD-RW disc.
Erasing is completed in several minutes.

Switch on the power.

Load the CD-RW disc for which finalizing is to be cancelled.

Press the MENU button, turn the jog dial of the main unit or press the automatic search button of the remote control,
and select the CD-R/RW edit mode.
•“CDR/RW Edit? is displayed.
Press the enter button, turn the jog dial of the main unit or press the automatic search button of the remote control, and
select the unfinalize mode.
•“CD-RW Erase? is displayed.
Now, press the enter button, turn the jog dial of the main unit or press the automatic search button of the remote
control, and select the unfinalize mode.
•“TOC Erase? is displayed.
Press the enter button.
•“Erase OK? is displayed.
Press the enter button again.
•“TOC Erase display is flashing.
When unfinalizing is completed, the disc type display will be CD-RW.
(2) Erasing the tracks
This operation is valid only for CD-RW discs.
Use this operation to cancel finalizing when adding further recording to a finalized CD-RW disc and when erasing recorded
tracks.
Erasing is completed in several minutes.

Load the CD-RW disc that is to be erased.

and select the CD-R/RW edit mode.

select the all tracks erase mode.
•“CD-RW Erase? is displayed.
Now, press the enter button, turn the jog dial of the main unit or press the automatic search button of the remote
control, and select the all tracks erase mode.
•“All Erase? is displayed.
Press the enter button.
•“Erase OK? is displayed.
Press the enter button again.
•“All Erase display is flashing.
When erasing is completed, the time display will be Blank Disc.
