Display settings (Display)
Settings can be performed for the display.
Rotate the jog dial to select “03 Display“.

Contrast
Sets the contrast of the
display.

The higher the setting value, the brighter the display becomes.
Time Form
Sets the type of the current
time display.
12H: Switches to the 12-hour display (AM/PM).
24H: Switches to the 24-hour display.
Date Form
Sets the display order of the
date.
M/D/Y: Displays the date in Month/Date/Year order.
D/M/Y: Displays the date in Date/Month/Year order.
The factory setting is “D/M/Y” for Europe.
File Sort
Selects the sorting method
for the file listing order.
Alpha (Alphabet) :Files are arranged in the order of symbols, numbers,
and alphabets.
Date: Files are arranged in date order.
Language
Selects the display language
for the file names and folder
names.
Eng : Displays the file names and folder names in English.
Jpn: Displays the file names and folder names in Japanese.
• When “Eng” is set, Japanese file names and folder names are not
displayed correctly.
• When this setting is changed, the unit is restarted in order for the setting
change to be read.
Default
Resets the Display Menu
settings to the default
values.
Yes: Values are returned to the defaults.
No: Values are not returned to the defaults.
Time & date settings (Time/Date)
Sets the clock on the DN-F450R.
Rotate the jog dial to select “04 Time/Date“.

04 Time/Date
Sets the built-in clock time.
Records the time of this
built-in clock as time data
(recording start time) in a
file.
01:00 AM: Enter the time.
Jan 01/2010: Enter the year, month and date.
n Entering Numbers
q Place the cursor in the position where you want to insert numbers
using the
MARK+ and MARK– buttons.
w Rotate the jog dial to select the number to input.
e Repeat steps q and w to enter all of the numbers.
r Press the jog dial when the entry is completed.
• Save the settings, and the screen returns to the menu screen.
To cancel without saving the entered characters, press the MARK
before saving.
