Perform ﬁle management operations. You can check ﬁle information,

change ﬁle names, and delete, copy and move ﬁles.

n Displaying the File Menu (Preparation)

Press and hold DISPLAY for more than 1 second

while stopped.

Select “File List” in the menu list and press the jog

dial.

The ﬁle list is displayed.

• Press PLAY/PAUSE while the ﬁle list is displayed to playback the

selected ﬁle.

• To display the folder list, select the folder name displayed at the

top, and press the jog dial.

Rotate the jog dial to select the le to operate, and

press the jog dial.

The ﬁle menu is displayed.

• Press STOP when the ﬁle menu is displayed to return to the

stopped state.

Display Explanation

01 Play Plays back a ﬁle.

02 Information File information is displayed.

03 Rename Changes the ﬁle name

04 Delete Deletes a ﬁle.

05 Copy Copies the ﬁle to a different folder.

06 Move

Moves a ﬁle from a the current folder into

a different folder.

07 Delete Mark Deletes all marks from the selected ﬁle.

Playing back ﬁles (01 Play)

Plays back the selected ﬁle.

Rotate the jog dial to select “01 Play”, and press the jog

dial.

• Press STOP to return to the ﬁle list.

File information (02 Information)

The selected ﬁle information is displayed.

Rotate the jog dial to select “02 Information”, and press

the jog dial.

File information is displayed.

• Press the jog dial to return to the ﬁle menu.

• Press STOP to return to the stopped state.

Renaming ﬁles (03 Rename)

Renames the selected ﬁle name.

Select “03 Rename” in the folder list menu, and

rotate the jog dial.

The rename menu is displayed.

Change the le name.

• The method for renaming the ﬁle is the same as “Renaming

presets” (vpage13).

Press the jog dial to save the changes.

• To return to the previous screen without saving the changes, press

MARK.

• If a space is entered as the ﬁrst or last character in the ﬁle name, the

space is deleted when the ﬁle name is saved.

• No more than 255 characters can be added for the ﬁle name.
