Cascade recording
The cascade recording function automatically continues recording on
the second DN-F450R if the SD card set in the first DN-F450R runs out
of recording space during recording.
You can perform the cascade recording function by connecting
another DN-F450R to this DN-F450R via REMOTE (input) terminal 1.
1
Use a monaural audio cable to connect REMOTE
terminal 1 of both DN-F450R recorders to each other.
2
Set “Remote1” preset menu to “Cascade” on both
DN-F450R recorders.
For the setting method, see “Remote1” (vpage13).
3
Press REC/M.TRACK to put both DN-F450R recorders
in pause state.
4
Press REC/M.TRACK on the recorder with which you
want to record.
Recording starts.
When the SD card set in the first DN-F450R runs out of recording
space during recording, recording is continued automatically on the
second DN-F450R.
NOTE
Unless you put the DN-F450R that is not recording in the recording
pause state, the cascade recording function will not be performed.
If the SD card set in the second DN-F450R (that takes over recording)
is running low of recording space, the cascade recording function
will not be performed.
