REMOTE terminal 2
You can use the optional microphone remote RC600PMD with
DN-F450R. RC600PMD (sold separately) is a remote used by
attaching it to the microphone for interviewing purposes.
RC600PMD is equipped with a 1.5m cord and 4 terminal mini plugs.
Menu settings are not required to use the RC600PMD.

Lights green when in standby mode or when stopped
Lights red during recording
Flashes red during recording pause
If a signal that exceeds the peak signal is input during recording
or recording pause, it returns from flashing orange to being lit red.
b Recording is paused when this button is pressed.
c Recording is started/restarted when this button is pressed. Files can
also be added manually. (Manual track)
d When this button is pressed, a mark is added during recording or
playback.
n Enhancement for REMOTE terminal 2
If a remote device is incorporated into the circuit shown in the diagram
below, PLAY, FF (fast forward) and REW (rewind) switches can be
operated as remote control functions. Therefore, you can use this
feature to smoothly perform tasks for transcribing audio to letters and
text for dictations and tape transcriptions.

As long as the PLAY switch is closed, DN-F450R performs playback.
When the PLAY switch is opened, the track is skipped back and
DN-F450R is put in pause state. The amount of time used for skipping
back a track can be set using “Skip Back” preset menu (vpage12).
While the FF switch or REW switch is closed, DN-F450R performs
the fast-forward or rewind operation accordingly and stops the
operation when the switch is opened.
Electrical Resistance Measurement Error: Within 5%
Do not add external voltage. Doing so may cause malfunctions.
Insulate the circuit so that the circuit cannot be touched directly.
Static electricity causes malfunctions. Construct the circuit so that it
is protected from static.
Do not operate the DN-F450R and circuit switch at the same time.
