Error message Cause/Solution Page

No Media • Cannot detect a SD card. Set the SD card again. 9

Unformat • A ﬁle is recorded using an unsupported format. Format a media on

DN-F450R or set the format to FAT16 or FAT32. For details, see

the operation instructions of the SD card.

Full Media • The remaining space on a SD card is running low. Replace the SD

card with a new one or delete ﬁles that are no longer required.

5, 23

Full 999 • The maximum number of ﬁles (999 ﬁles) has been stored. Change

a folder to store the recording ﬁles or delete ﬁles that are no longer

required.

23, 24

Full MARK • The maximum number of marks (30 marks) has been set, and a

new mark cannot be added. To add a mark, delete marks.

Full Folder • The maximum number of folders (32 folders) has been created,

and a new folder cannot be created. To create a folder, delete other

folders.

No Files • A target ﬁle is not found. Conﬁrm whether the ﬁle exists. 22

No MARK • A target mark is not found. To search for a mark, add a mark. 17

ALC • This error message appears when “ALC” is set for “07 LevelCont”

in the preset menu. In that case, the recording level and recording

balance cannot be adjusted. To adjust the recording level, change

“07 LevelCont” to “Manual”.

VBR • This error message appears when a VBR ﬁle search is performed.

Search cannot be performed on VBR ﬁles. The remaining time of a

ﬁle is not displayed either.

Error message Cause/Solution Page

Already Exists • A ﬁle with the same ﬁle name already exists. Change the ﬁle name

and then press the jog dial to enter the data.

Long Title • A ﬁle with a ﬁle name consisting of 253 characters cannot be

divided. Rename the ﬁle and then divide the ﬁle.

Key Locked • Key lock is activated. To operate DN-F450R, cancel the lock. 25

Card Locked • The SD card protection switch has been set to lock. To perform a

recording, cancel SD card protection.

Can not... • This error message appears when an invalid operation is performed.

The operation may become invalid because of other setting items

such as the preset menu, so check the contents of the operation.

Err Format • Format a media on DN-F450R or set the format to FAT16 or

FAT32. For details, see the operation instructions of the SD card.

Err Media X • This SD card is not compatible with DN-F450R. Replace it with a

compatible SD card

Update File Error

• Error in upgrading a ﬁle or ﬁle system.

Err FlashROM • Error in ﬂash ROM.
