Press [SDB].

The current setting appears on the display for about 5 seconds.

b The mode switches between “On ( )” and “Off ( )” if [SDB]

is pressed again while the current setting is displayed.

b Either press [MUTE] again or adjust the volume to cancel the mute

live music sources, playing

music with an expansive sound

This mode makes TV news

programs and the dialogues of

drama programs easier to hear.

bThe surround mode is set to “MOVIE” upon purchase.

b Depending on the source being played, it may not be possible

to achieve a satisfactory effect. In this case, try other modes to

create a sound ﬁeld to your liking.

b When playing the sound of a TV, the volume may increase suddenly

when a commercial starts. This is because the audio input signal

has switched, and is not a malfunction. If the difference in volume

level bothers you, we recommend using the “MOVIE” or “MUSIC”

mode in which there is less difference in volume between different

signals.
