Playback
n Exiting auto loop playback
During auto loop playback, press EXIT/RELOOP.
Auto loop playback exits, and normal playback resumes.
Hot cue playback
The positions (hot cue points) where you want to start playback can be
registered in HOT CUE 1 – 4.
n Registering hot cue points
At the position where you want to start playback, press
one of the HOT CUE 1 – 4 buttons that are lit dim orange.
The pressed button lights a bright orange, and the hot cue point is
registered.
NOTE
Buttons that are lit bright orange already have hot cue points
registered, and cannot be overwritten. Cancel the current hot cue
point registration in order to re-register a hot cue point.
n Hot cue playback
Press one of the HOT CUE 1 – 4 buttons that are lit bright
orange.
Playback starts from the hot cue point set to the pressed button.
n Clearing hot cue points
Press and hold CLR and press one of the HOT CUE 1 – 4
buttons whose registration you want to cancel.
The hot cue point is cleared from the pressed button.
Auto loop playback
This function automatically repeats playback in time with the beat.
n Setting auto loop playback
Press AUTO LOOP.
•AUTO LOOP lights, and the A and B indicators in the display flash.
•The playback position when the button is pressed is set as the A
point (start point). From there, the beat source set in “Auto Loop
Cnt.” (vpage42) is automatically set as the B point (end point),
and auto loop playback starts between A – B.
NOTE
If the BPM of the track being played is not set, auto loop playback may
not operate correctly.
n Adjusting the auto loop playback range
Expanding the loop range
Press AUTO LOOP +.
•Each time the button is pressed, the loop range expands as shown
below.
X2 X4 X8 X16
•The B point (end point) moves to match the expanded loop range.
•The B point (end point) maximum range limit is the end of the track.
Reducing the A-B loop range
Press AUTO LOOP –.
•Each time the button is pressed, the loop range reduces as shown
below.
X1/2 X1/4 X1/8 X1/16
•The B point (end point) moves to match the reduced loop range.
•The minimum range for the B point (end point) is 1 frame after the
A point.
