Turn off the main units power.
The power is set to the standby
mode.
If the timer standby mode is set to
ON, the power LED is lit orange.
The disc starts playing when the
timer start time is reached.

When the displays mark is lit or the power LED is lit orange
when the power is in the standby mode, the timer will operate at
the same times every day. (Everyday timer)
If you do not want the timer to operate, press the TIMER/SET
button to display T.Stdby and set to OFF.
(The displays mark turns off.)
If you make a mistake when setting the timer, with steps 5 to 12
press the TIMER/SET button and hold it in for at least 2 seconds to
return to step 3, and start over from there.
NOTES:
If the current time is not set, the timer standby setting cannot
be set to ON. Be sure to set the current time before turning
on the timer.
The timer will operate as long as it is turned on, even if the time
setting is off due to a power failure. If you want the timer to
operate correctly, be sure the current time is properly set.
If the timer start time is reached while the power is turned on,
the set operates as set for the timer. (The timer settings are
given priority.)
Be sure to set the power to the standby mode to operate the
timer.

Select ON/OFF. If an operation is not performed within 4
seconds, the setting will be made automatically and there
will be a return to the normal display. (Operation 15 is not
necessary.)

Set Timer TUNER in Step 4, then press the TIMER/SET
button.

receive with the timer, then press the TIMER/SET button.
Hereafter, the same procedure is performed from Step 6.
