Connecting a CD receiver and subwoofer
2 About mounting the main unit stand
You will need a screwdriver to assemble.
q Connect the system cable to the bottom of
the main unit.
w Run the system cable around to the back, line up the positioning pin
of the included main unit stand with the hole in the
main unit, then mount with the included screws.
e Connect the plug on the opposite side of the system cable to the subwoofer.
Connect with the driver
part of the system cable’s
connector facing upwards.
Connect with the wider part of the system cable’s
connector facing upwards.
Insert the plug securely, pressing it in all the way it
will go.

2 About mounting the speaker stand
Paying attention to set the included
speaker stand in the proper front/back
position, line up the positioning pin with
the hole in the speaker, then mount it
with the included screws and fasten it
securely.

Connecting the speakers and cords
• Use the included speaker cords to connect the speakers and subwoofer.
• Connect the left channel speaker (the left side as soon from the front) to the “L” terminals, the right
channel speaker to the “R” terminals.
q Lower the lever. w Insert the speaker cord. e Return the lever.

Connect the cord’s copper-colored core wire to the
“+” side, the silver-colored core wire to the “” side.
Push down
and insert the
speaker cord.
• Gently pull the cord to check that
it is securely connected.
NOTES:
• Be sure to unplug the power supply cord before
connecting the speakers.
• Be sure to connect the speaker cords properly (+
to +, to , L to L and R to R).
• Do not short-circuit the speaker cords.
If the power is turned on, accidentally short-
circuiting the speaker cords could cause damage
or accidents.
• Be sure to connect the speaker to the speaker
terminals with the proper polarities (+ to +,
to ).
If the polarities are wrong, the sound from the
center will be weak, the positioning of the

instruments will be unclear and the stereo effect
will be poor.
• Never play such special signals as sine waves or
the fast-forwarding signals of a tape recorder
continuously.
