2. When playback is restricted (Level 0 to 7)

Use the number buttons to Input the correct password, then press the

ENTER button.

l Press number button “1 “, then press the ENTER button.

The screen in step 1 on page 43 reappears.

@To change the password:

l Press number button “2”.

l Use the number buttons to input the new password, then press the

ENTER button.

l Press the ENTER button.

The screen in step 1 on page 43 reappears.

@To change the rating level:

l Press number button “3”.

l Use the A and 7 cursor buttons or the number buttons to select the

desired level, then press the ENTER button.

The screen in step 1 on page 43 reappears.

@To temporarily cancel the restriction (unlock the player):

l Press number button “4”.

l Press the ENTER button.

The screen in step 1 on page 43 reappears.

l The temporary unlock setting WIII be in effect until the power IS

switched OFF or set to STANDBY, as well as until the change is

NOTE:

l Some discs may not be encoded with specific rating level information though its disc jacket says that it is for “adults”.

For those discs, the age restriction will not work.
