BPM manual input mode is saved and the
BPM is locked to that value.

The known BPM can be dialed in directly by the
numerical value.
e The BPM manual input mode
is available when the TAP
button is pushed for more
than 2 sec. “Manual In” is
displayed is the screen.
r You can input BPM value
directly with the
PARAMETERS knob.
When you push and turn
the PARAMETERS knob,
you may also adjust the
“.1” area.

BPM LOCK
The data measured by the Auto
BPM counter is locked.
q Push the TAP button once
while Auto BPM counter is
operating.
“BPM Lock” is displayed for 1 second.

NOTE:
AUTO BPM COUNTER might not be able to be measured correctly according to the music.
*If this happens, please use the TAP or Manual in feature.
AUTO BPM COUNTER
Beats per minute (BPM) of a file is measured automatically and displayed during playback or in Cue standby
mode.
Measured BPM values are synchronized with the effector parameters such as: (ECHO/LOOP and FLANGER
time)
When Auto BPM counter is off, pushing the TAP button for 1 second, reactivates the AUTO BPM COUNTER to
turn back on.
If you change or select a new file, the old BPM is cleared and the Auto BPM counter starts to detect the new file
automatically.
NOTE:
If the MP3 or WAV file contains metadata BPM
information, this value is displayed as the default
value and the LOCK icon will appear in the screen.
You may override the default TAG by
AUTO/TAP/MANUAL in as described above.

TAPPING
The interval when the TAP button
is pushed repeatedly is measured
and BPM is calculated accordingly.
w When you push the TAP
button, the Auto BPM counter turns off.
Push the TAP button repeatedly about 5 ~ 10
times according to the beat.

Parameter selection mode OFF
e When the PARAMETERS
knob or the JOG MODE
button is pushed,
parameter selection
mode is canceled.
Select the LOOP mode
When the feedback level is set to the maximum,
loop playback with the specified time begins. File
can be search for and the file/Playlist can be
replaced during loop playback.
ECHO LOOP FADE OUT
The parameter mode is turned off while the
echo loop is reproducing when the back cue
or NEXT FILE is selected at the parameter
selection mode.
When the new track is selected and playback
is started, echo loop playback stops by fade
out. An echo loop playback and a normal
playback can be smoothly replaced.
Set the parameters
w In the parameter
selection mode, the
“ECHO/LOOP” and
“PARAMETERS”
indicator flashes and the echo/loop
parameters can be selected with
PARAMETERS knob and JOG disc.
Echo Feedback level : JOG disc.
Echo Delay time : PARAMETERS knob.
ECHO/LOOP ON
q When the ECHO/LOOP button is pressed, the
echo/loop function is turned on and the
parameter selection mode is set.
*When echo/loop indicator is
solid (not blinking), press the
ECHO/LOOP button to set the
parameter selection mode
again.
