State-of-the-art Denon Solutions for

Maximizing Content Quality

• Supports 4K video signals (video upscaling,

video passthrough, GUI overlay)

When 4K (3840 x 2160 pixel) video signals are input

to the AVR-2113CI, video passthrough outputs the signals

in the same quality to the TV monitor, and GUI

overlay displays the menu screen over the 4K video

screen. The AVR-2113CI is also equipped with a 4K

video upscaling circuit that upscales analog signals,

standard definition (SD), and high-definition (HD, up to

1080p) signals to a maximum of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K)

and outputs the signals via HDMI. The AVR-2113CI

provides the video circuitry you need to enjoy high-

definition video entertainment into the future.

• Fully discrete, identical quality and power for all

7 channels (95 W x 7 ch)

To faithfully reproduce the original surround sound, each of the

AVR-2113CI’s 7 channels is equipped with the same power amp

of equal power. Since these power amps also use discrete cir-

cuits conﬁgured with parts strictly selected for their contribution

to high sound quality, rather than with low-cost integrated circuits

(ICs), the surround sound playback is of impeccably high quality.

• Dolby Pro Logic IIz

To let you enjoy an even richer spatial expression, the

AVR-2113CI is equipped with a Dolby Pro Logic IIz decoder.

By connecting Front Height speakers and using Dolby Pro

Logic IIz playback, you will be able to enjoy surround sound in

the vertical as well as horizontal direction.

Connectivity & Future-ready Expandability

• 6 x HDMI in (1 on front panel) / 1 x HDMI out

The AVR-2113CI provides a generous supply of 6 HDMI

inputs, including 1 on the front. These inputs can be used

to connect mobile devices such as a camcorder or tablet,

allowing you to immediately enjoy videos, photos, and music.

• Power Amp Assign function, for versatility in

using the AVR-2113CI for different purposes

The AVR-2113CI supports up to 7.1 channels (FL/ FR/ C/ SL/

SR/ SBL/ SBR/ SW) for surround playback deﬁned by the

Blu-ray disc format. To enjoy surround playback with the

AVR-2113CI’s Dolby Pro Logic IIz, you can reassign the

power amp from the two surround back channels (SBL/SBR)

to the two front height channels (FHL/FHR). Or by assigning

the SBL/SBR power amp to Zone 2, you can enjoy multi-room

audio playback, or to achieve higher-quality sound for 2-channel

stereo playback, you can conﬁgure the AVR-2113CI for front

bi-amp operation. These are just some of the ways you can

arrange the AVR-2113CI’s amps to suit various listening styles.

Ease-of-use

• Setup Assistant, providing easy-to-follow setup

instructions

First select the language when prompted. Then simply

follow the instructions displayed on the TV screen to set up

the speakers and so on.
