Fader Mode
Switches the operation for
fader start for the mixer
connected to this unit.
Switch this setting to match
the connected mixer.
1L Play/Cue : If the mixer is a 1-wire mixer, raise the fader to playback, or
lower it for cue standby.
1L Play/Pause : If the mixer is a 1-wire mixer, raise the fader to playback,
or lower it to pause.
2L Play/Cue : If the mixer is a 2-wire mixer, raise the fader to playback, or
lower it for cue standby.
2L Play/Pause : If the mixer is a 2-wire mixer, raise the fader to playback,
or lower it to pause.
Contrast
Sets the brightness of the
display and buttons.
0 – 4 : “0” is the brightest, and “4” is the darkest.
Cue Mode
Switches the cue
point setting mode
(vpage24).
Standard : Sets the cue point by the standard method used in general
DJ products.
DENON : Sets the cue point in the same way as conventional DENON DJ
products.
Auto Cue
Sets the detection level of
the sound start point when
ignoring the soundless part
at the head of a track at
playback.
OFF/–60dB/–54dB/–48dB
When set to “OFF”, playback is started from the head of the track
without skipping the soundless part.
TT. Tricks
Sets the platter operation
after scratching is used.
(During Brake)
ON : Pauses.
OFF : Return to Brake.
Power on Play
Switches power on playback
(vpage25) on or off.
ON : Power on playback is performed.
OFF : Power on playback is not performed.
Relay
Switches relay playback
(vpage31) on or off.
ON : When multiple DN-SC3900 units, are connected via a network, when
a track or disc playback finishes, the next track is played back according to
the “Network ID” number.
OFF : Relay playback is not performed.
NOTE
Tracks on units that are set to “OFF” cannot be played back.

Sets the space between
point A (start point)
and point B (end point)
for auto loop playback
(vpage27).

Beat Point
Selects whether to use
the beat grid created by
“engine”.
ON : Uses the beat grid created by “engine”.
OFF : Does not use the beat grid created by “engine”.
Auto Memo Load
Sets whether to
automatically read memo
data when memo data has
been created for a playback
track.
ON : Memo data is automatically read.
OFF : Memo data is not automatically read.
PC/MAC
Sets the OS of the
computer connected by
USB to this unit.
PC : Set when the computer connected by USB to this unit runs on
Windows.
MAC : Set when the computer connected by USB to this unit runs on
Mac.
MIDI CH
Selects the MIDI channel to
be used.

Hybrid MIDI Freq
Sets the playback frequency
and LED mode for the time
code information. Select the
frequency according to the
DJ software used.
Scratch Live

/2kHz/2.5kHz/1.2kHz/3kHz
Hybrid MIDI LED
Sets how the LED lights in
Hybrid MIDI mode.
When using DJ software that
cannot light the LED, button
positions can be easily found
even in dark places when the
LED is left on continually.
