1. Relay play

* With the relay play mode it IS possible to play the disc in the CD side and the one I” the CD-R side. relaying between them.

* The programmed play and random play modes can be preset for the discs in the CD and CD-R units.

Load the discs you want to play in the CD and CD-R “nits

Press the RELAY MODE button and select “r 31; 3 : P:“’

Use the CD or CD-R section repeat l/ALL button on the remote control “n,t to turn the repeat mode on or off

The l-track repeat mode cannot be set I” the relay mode.

The relay opeiat~on IS performed as shown below according to the comblnatlon of the relay and repeat modes

Relay play starts when the CD unit’s play button IS pressed.

NOTE:

When relaying between a CD and CD-R. the dtgltal data from the CD/CD-R dtgltal output terminal IS interrupted

momentarily The dIgItal input of the connected external device IS temporarily unlocked at this time

2. Mix mode

* In the Max mode. programmed play and random play of the d!sc in the CD unit and the one IV the CD-R unit can be performed as

if the two discs were a single disc

(1) Mix programmed playback

(Man unit)

(Remote control unit)

Load the discs you want to play I” the CD and CD-R ““1%.

Press the RELAY MODE button and select ”

The “MIX” indicator Ilghts.

Press the CD or CD-R une’s PROG/DIRECT button on the remote control unit to set the program mode.

Follow the procedure at “Programmed playback” on Page 21 to program the tracks I” the order I” which you want to

play them

You can program tracks for both the CD and CD-R units by uswg the CD/CD-R selector switch on the remote control

Up to 30 tracks can be programmed

MIX programmed playback starts when the CD or CD-R unit’s play button IS pressed.

To quit the mix mode, press the relay mode button and select “!
