Setting up MIDI output channels and
checking their settings

Press one of the BROWSE/SAMPLE/EFX/RECORD
buttons while holding the SHIFT pressed.
Assign the MIDI channels as shown below.
BROWSE : CH 1 – 4
EFX : CH 9 – 12
SAMPLE : CH 5 – 8
RECORD : CH 13 – 16

The CUE corresponding to MIDI channel comes on.
CUE 1 : CH 1 – 4
CUE 3 : CH 9 – 12
CUE 2 : CH 5 – 8
CUE 4 : CH 13 – 16

Release the SHIFT.
Normal mode is retrieved from the operation mode.

Press the CF MODE while holding the SHIFT pressed.
The CUE corresponding to the current MIDI channel
flashes.





MIDI command input/output
This unit supports USB MIDI output. Almost all MIDI control functions are supported.
Controls are divided into the following blocks and assigned MIDI channels.
MIDI control function
Input channels on deck control and mixer parts support the USB MIDI
control function. The deck control part always issues MIDI commands
based on panel operations. Set the channel input source switch knob
for input channels as follows to issue MIDI commands from them.

, and slide switches do not support MIDI output.
When you set the mixing mode selector switch to “INT MIX”, MIDI
commands are not issued from input channel 2/3.
With the mixing mode selector switch set to “PC MIX”, MIDI
commands are issued when you operate input channel 2/3.
Therefore, if the DJ software supports four decks, you can control
mixing for four decks by operating from the unit.
