EXPANDING TO A 6.1- OR 7.1-CHANNEL SYSTEM
The DHT-M330DV is equipped with a decoder function allowing 6.1- or 7.1-channel playback (Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES, Dolby Pro-Logic IIx, etc.),
as well as PRE OUT connectors for surround back channels (SBL and SBR).
The DHT-M330DV is also equipped with a pre-out connector for a subwoofer channel, so the system can be improved using a commercially
available superwoofer with built-in amplifier. (Signals are constantly output from the subwoofer pre-out connector.)
•A separately sold stereo amplifier and surround back speaker systems can be used in combination with the DHT-M330DV to create a 6.1- or
7.1-channel surround system.
(1) Connections for a 6.1- or 7.1-channel system
When using a commercially available amplifier and speakers
Use the front left, front right, center, surround left and surround right channels with DHT-M330DV connections.
For a 6.1-channel system, use the AVR-M330’s SBL PRE OUT connector to connect the amplifier and one surround back speaker.
For a 7.1-channel system, use the AVR-M330’s SBL and SBR PRE OUT connectors to connect the amplifier and two surround back speakers.
(2) 6.1- or 7.1-channel speakers system layout
