Insert a card in a card slot.
Be sure to insert the card in the proper direction. (See page
9.)

Turn on the power.
Set the POWER switch on the left side to “ON” to turn on
the set’s power.

Select the file to be played.
If you wish to play a file other than the one that is currently
displayed, select the directory containing the file, then
select the file.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

Turn the MONITOR VOL. control on the left side to adjust the
volume.
Turning the control in the clockwise direction increases the
volume and turning it in the counterclockwise direction
decreases the volume.

When using headphones, be careful not to turn the
volume up too high. Listening over headphones for
extended periods of time at high volumes can have
adverse effects on your hearing.

If the power was turned off with
the auto power off function, first
set the POWER switch to the
“OFF” side, then set it back to
“ON”.
The card is checked automatically and the current file is
displayed.
Press the button to move to the
previous directory.
Press the ª button to move to the
next directory.
Press the FWD button to move to
the next file.
Press the REW button to move to
the previous file.
The stop mode is set automatically
once file playback has ended (in the
continuous play mode, once all the
files have been played).
The monitor speaker is turned off when headphones are plugged
into the PHONES jack.
