[3] Adjusting the channel level
Adjust se that the playback levels of the different channels are equal.
Make this adjustment by listening to the test tones output from the speakers at the listening position.
By factory default all the levels ef all the channels are set to 0 riB.
This adjustment can also be made directly frem the remote centrol unit. (CH SELECT Button)
If yeu are net at the system setting changing menu screen,
read step 1 and 2 en page 34.
At the system setting changing menu screen, use the 4 and
I_ cursor buttons to select "Channel Level Adjustment", then
press the ENTER button.
When "Auto" is selected at "Test Tone":

The channel level adjustment screen appears.

Test tones are automatically output from the speakers at
intervals of 4 seconds for two ef the cycles shown below,
then at intervals of 2 seconds frem the third cycle on.

Use the 4 and I_ cursor buttons to adjust the channel levels
se that the volume of the test tones eutput frem the different
speakers seunds the same.
The level changes in units of 1 dB each time the 4 and I_
cursor button is pressed.
The level can be adjusted in the range -12 dB to +12 dB.

select "Aute" or "Manual" fer the
"Test Tene" mode.
The selected setting is displayed
in yellew.

output when adjusting the levels.
._ Detailed settings can be made when this is set te
"Manual" first.
When "Yes" is selected at "Level Clear", the level settings
fer all the speakers are set to 0 dB.

Adjust the channel levels in the test tone mode.
Use the and cursor buttons te select the "Test Tone
Start" mode, then use the 4 cursor button to select "Yes".
The test tone is output.
._ Use the MASTER VOLUME control on the main unit or the
VOLUME buttons on the remote contrel unit to adjust the
volume of the test tene to a level at which it is easy te
make this adjustment.

which the test tene is to be output, then use the 4 and I_
cursor buttons te adjust the channel levels so that the volume
ef the test tenes output frem the different speakers seunds
the same.
