Insert a recorded disc to which you want to create groups into the disc insertion slot.
In the stop mode, press the EDIT button.

Input the title.
• For instructions on inputting titles, see step 5 under “Adding disc titles” on page 25.
Press the EDIT button to enter the input track title.
Press the 5 (eject) button on the main unit.
• Group 1 is created.
• The TOC data is written and the disc is ejected.
• When TOC writing starts, the “” indicator flashes. Do not shake the main unit, or unplug the power
supply cord while the TOC is being written. If the data is not recorded properly, it will not be possible to play
the disc.
• The TOC data can also be recorded by performing the following operations:
• Pressing the power button to set the power to the standby mode.
• In the stop mode, press the
2 (stop) button.
Repeat Steps 2 to 11 and create groups 2 and 3.
NOTES:
• Tracks that have been registered to a group cannot be selected.
•“
New Group?
” will not be displayed for instances such as the following:
1. Ninety-nine groups have already been registered.
2. There is insufficient space in the disc name information area to write the group management information.
3. All tracks have already been group registered.
NOTES:
2 When in the “1 GROUP” mode, the number of the currently playing track can be checked and track numbers can
be specified and played.
