Handled audio files as “track” and playing audio file
A folder (also called a “directory”) is a hierarchical level.
After setting media device and searching for all audio files, the DN-F400 assigns each
audio file a track number.
For example in the illustration below, at first each audio file is assigned a track number.
Folder-AAA, folder-BBB, and folder-DDD contain audio files and can be selected for
operations. But folder-CCC is excluded from operations. Folder-CCC does not contain
audio files, and is excluded from operations.
ROOT (
folder number 01
)
AAA
(
folder number 02
)
BBB
(
folder number 03
)
CCC
DDD
(
folder number 04
)
bbb001.mp3 (Track number 004)
bbb002.txt
aaa001.mp3 (Track number 003)
ddd001.mp3 (Track number 005)
rrr001.mp3 (Track number 001)
rrr002.wav (Track number 002)
The maximum number of folders is 256 (including the root directory).
If 1,000 or more files exist, files 1 to 999 will be played.
Files 1,000 and after will not be played back.
Folder layers are a maximum of 3 (including the root directory).
A maximum of 64 characters for a filename and 32 characters for a folder name can be
used. (alphabetics in upper- and lower-case letters, numerics, symbols (complying with
FAT))
A folder that does not include the file to be played has no folder number.
