3. DEVICE OPERATION

1. Select a folder with the 4/¢ jog wheel, and press it. Then the files in the folder are

displayed.

2. Press the 4/¢ jog wheel to determine the file selection then press the 6 button to

start playback.

2. Programmed playback

• For a file with the extension “m3u”(playlist file) under the root in an SD card, programmed

playback is performed in the order described in the file.

• Any file that is not described in the m3u file is excluded from playback and is not displayed

on the file list. The full path of each file is displayed.

3. Hot-start playback

• You can register files to the hot start buttons 1–20 of the RC-F400S and play back a registered

file by merely pressing the corresponding button.

• See page 14 for details on how to register.

■ NOT PLAY setting

Set the files not to be played.

2. Press the NOT PLAY button.

3. “Completed” is displayed on the display unit.

4. When setting is completed, Track No display is changed to “---“. (Example: “Track008”

changes to “---“.)

■ ENABLE setting

Cancel the setting of NOT PLAY to enable a file played back.
