I'_ SURROUND
Before playing with the surround function, be sure te use the test tones to adjust the playback level frem the different speakers. This adjustment
can be performed with the system setup (see page 32-34) or frem the remete control unit, as described below.
Adjusting with the remete control unit using the test tenes is only possible in the "Aute" mode and enly effective in the STANDARD
(DOLBY/DTS SURROUND) modes. The adjusted levels fer the different medes are autematicallv stered in the memerv.
% Press the TEST TONE button.

_ When the surround back speaker setting is set to "lspkr" for
"Speaker Configuration", this is set to "SB".
NOTES:
The adjustment range for the different channels is +12 dB to
-12 dB.
The sound from the subweefer can be cut by lowering the SW
(subweofer) setting one step from -12 dB (setting it te "OFF").
