When the surreund parameters are set using the buttons en the main unit, stop operating buttons after cempleting the settings. The

settings are automatically finalized and the normal display reappears after several seconds.

When the settings are made using the buttens on the remete control unit, press the "ENTER" or "SURROUND PARAMETER" butten te

finish.

NOTE:

• When "Default" is selected and the curser left button is pressed, "MODE" and "TONE" are automaticall reset to the default values and

"CINEMA EQ" is set te "OFF".

Surround parameters _2_

DTS NEO:6 Mode:

• Cinema

This mede is eptimum fer playing movies. Deceding is perfermed

with emphasis on separation performance to achieve the same

atmosphere with 2-channel seurces as with 6.1-channel seurces.

This mode is effective for playing seurces recerded in conventienal

surround fermats as well, because the in-phase component is

assigned mainly to the center channel (C) and the reversed phase

component to the surreund (SL, SR and SB channels).

• Music

This mede is suited mainly for playing music. The frent channel (FL

and FR) signals bypass the decoder and are played directly so there

is ne less of sound quality, and the effect ef the surreund signals

output frem the center (C) and surround (SL, SR and SB) channels

add a natural sense of expansion to the seund field.

CENTER IMAGE (0.0 to 1.0: default 0.3):

The center image parameter for adjusting the expansion of the

center channel in the DTS NEe:6 MUSIC mode has been added.

Select the input seurce.
