Set the distance between the center speaker and listening pesition.

The distance changes in units ef 0.1 feet (0.03 meters) each time the button is pressed. Select

the value clesest to the measured distance.

Example: When the distance is set to 12 feet

for the center speaker

•_ If "Yes" is selected for "Default", the settings are automatically reset to the default values.

Please note that the difference ef distance for every speaker should be 20 ft (6.0 m) or less. If

you set an invalid distance, a CAUTION notice, such as screen right win appear, in this case,

please relecate the blinking speaker(s) so that its distance is no larger than the value shown in

highlighted line.

•_ When "Step" is selected, you can select the unit of "1 ft (0.1m)" or "0.1 ft (0.01 m)".

The Speaker Setup Menu reappears.

The AVR-2805/985 autematically sets the optimum

surreund delay time for the listening room.

NOTE:

If the distance unit is changed after the delay time is set, the settings are reset te the factery default values (see page 18).

• Use this setting to adjust se that the playback level between the different channels is equal.

• From the listening pesition, listen to the test tenes produced from the speakers to adjust the level.

• The level can alse be adjusted directly frem the remote centrol unit. (Fer details, see page 68.)
